ABOUT THE EVENT
Introducing Red and Yellow Day – a National Celebration for our Beaches Lifesavers!
Red & Yellow Day is a nationwide celebration on March 4, 2026, to recognise the thousands of Surf Life Saving volunteers who dedicate their time to keeping our beaches safe.
Now it’s our turn to show they can count on us, by simply wearing the colours on Red & Yellow Day. By donating. By fundraising. By signing up at your local club, and flying the same flags we’re taught to swim between. And by staying beach-safe.
In doing so, you’ll help Surf Life Saving turn the tide on coastal drowning. Because when you back the surf lifesavers on Red & Yellow Day, you can help save lives too.

Missed out? No Worries!

The Red and Yellow Day Appeal is a 2 month campaign supporting the Surf Life Saving volunteers who keep our beaches safer.
From 3 March to 6 May, Australians everywhere will unite to support the Surf Life Saving volunteers who protect our coastline.
Your donation or fundraising effort helps fund essential rescue equipment, volunteer training and community safety programs.
Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club is taking part in the Red and Yellow Day Appeal from 3 March to 6 May to support our volunteers who keep the beaches and community of Point Lookout (Mulumba/Mooloomba) safe. Point Lookout Surf Club manages two patrolled beaches with an additional 4 beaches under our watchful eye but this comes with a greater demand on our people equipment and funds. Therefore, every donation helps provide essential training rescue equipment and patrol readiness to help our volunteers keep the people and waters of Minjerribah safe.
