Bronze Medallion
The Bronze Medallion is one of Surf Life Saving’s most recognised and rewarding milestones — giving members the opportunity to build confidence, develop practical lifesaving skills and become an active part of keeping our beaches safe.
Designed for members ready to take the next step in their surf lifesaving journey, this course combines hands-on learning with teamwork, communication and real-world problem solving. Participants are supported to challenge themselves, grow their confidence and develop skills that extend well beyond the beach.
What participants will experience
• Working as part of a patrol and team environment
• Building confidence in surf awareness and rescue scenarios
• Learning practical emergency response and communication skills
• Developing decision-making and leadership abilities
